Clifton, I just wanted to complete my info to you about Joseph Channel's grandchildern. I recieved a death certificate on my grandfather, William H Channel, It confirms his burial site. If you are interested let me know. I have found more living decendants too.
I would appreciate your help in verifying Joseph's parents. You are one of a few that have him living past 1853, as most genealogist report. We know that if he married Lavina in 1865/66 and had more children, (d.1853 has to be the wrong person.)
