It's great to finally have a follow-up. In my case, since all I know is that my Dad immigrated to America from Taiwan, I know nothing about the origins of his name or of its spelling. I also have the Chinese characters for "Chang," and the person who gave them to me indicated the characters were the same for Chong, Zheung, and Zhang. Maybe a couple of others. I need to find out some way of getting in touch with my cousins who still may be in Taiwan
