My ancestor was Richard Cheyney who came Anne Arundel County, Md. 1600s from England. His first wife was Charity & second Eleanor & as far as I know my line goes like this. Richard had 1200 acres of connecting plantations on South River in All Hallows Parish. This is the way I think my line goes but then I read more & am not positive of things. Richard & Eleanor, Thomas & Susanna Hooper, Thomas & Anne Wells, Thomas Jr. & Elizabeth Sunderland, John & Martha Stamp, Jacob & Christiana Wood, Henry & Annie Jane Chamberlin, Charles Herbert & Irene Peregrine, me - Marilyn Carol Chaney & Earl Carroll Ertel. We have a daughter, son & 4-grandchildren. They remained Anne Arundel for 2 or 3 generations & then moved Calvert County. Just before Civil War Jacob & Christiana moved Cincinnati, Ohio where family remained. Marilyn Chaney Ertel
