well i am about ready to pull my hair out. it's like this ancestor appeared and then disappeared. john n chandler supposedly died in 1922 in polk county, ga...beginning to wonder about that and why he would of been there when it shows his wife martha ann "mattie" pettit was in summit, blount county, al living with their only son william franklin chander on the 1910 census. he was born in 1851 in ga, married mattie in 1872 in ga. had william franklin in polk county ga.
if anyone has any idea on what family this chandler belongs to or can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
