Cheryl, your dates just doesn't match up. Please read what you wrote and correct ok?

What you wrote are in quotes:

"1784, Richard appears on Surry Co, NC, tax list as 21 and over.

"Richard listed as 26-44 on the Surry 1780 census, making his DOB 1756-1763." Either my calculator is off or your's is. 1780-44=1736; 1780-26=1754.

And I will say again, please show proof of what you're posting, not just what someone has written or suggested.

You and others tell everyone to not take ages from census records as proof, yet, that is exactly what you and others do, when it suits your purpose.

Show me the proof that William and Delitha had these other children, so far, no one has provided one iota of proof. The only paper proof I have ever seen of their children are the two daughters, Kesiah/Keziah and Rebecca.

I do have proof that Richard Chandler b. 1751 married Martha Linsey. I have proof they had a son Richard Chandler b. 1775 who married Charity Parks, in Wilkes Co. NC where her family were living. I have proof that all of Richard and Charity's children were born in NC except the two youngest who were born in GA.

I have proof that Richard/Charity moved to Franklin Co. GA and bought land from Joseph Chandler/Nancy Ann Turman. I have proof there were quite a few transactions which included several of the families who married into the "other" Chandlers with "my" Chandlers. Too many coincidences for them not to be related.

I have circumstancial evidence of a lot of other info. that ties Richard to this family, but unlike others I don't post it on the worldwide web as fact when as of now I have not proven it conclusively. But, with so much wrong info. out there makes it very hard to prove something absolute.

"IF" and this is a big if, I listen to some of the others, then "my" Chandlers and the other Franklin, Carroll, Haralson, Cos, GA and the Benton, Calhoun, Cleburne Cos. AL Chandler are not related period.

All it takes is for one individual claiming an "ancestor" as his, when in fact, this individual isn't his to throw off the DNA tests completely. Or one individual was given to the wrong family in a tree which can throw off everything completely.
