The Abilene Reporter-News Tuesday November 24, 1964 Page 4A Chandler Rites Set for Wednesday Snyder--Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bell-Seale Funeral Home Chapel here for A. A. Chandler, 75, former resident of Scurry County, who died at 9 a.m. Sunday at his home in Edinburg. Burial will be in Snyder Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. He was born in Searcy, Ark., July 13 1889. Survivors are his wife; Three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Martin of Midland, Mrs. Morris Burditt of Weslaco and Mrs. R. G. Groves of Hermleigh; Two sons, A. C. of Edinburg and Buck of Corpus Christi; seven sisters, Mrs. Vera Blackard of Carrizo Springs, Mrs. Mary McClure of Alamo, Mrs. Maggie Humphrey of Crystal City, Mrs. Bertha Ellis of Dunn, Mrs. Lovilla Holladay of Ira, Mrs. Blanche Graham of Odessa, and Mrs. Opal Boyd of Corpus Christi; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
