I'll finish what I was saying Charles Bond left Va. moved to SURRY Co.N.C. abt 1774 Died here Will Probated 1775 .

John Bond' & William b.abt 1750 d. 1774 Albemarle Co.Va. Like I said ,William Billy Bond died & widow married John Burgess.1778 (think was the date in Fluvanna. These Bond children sold to John Burgess ,he gave it to his sons. Maybe these Bond boys went with their father to Surry Co.N.C.
!733 Charles Bond got land grant of 250 Ac. on little Byrd (sometimes spelled Bird) Creek in Goochland But, when Albemarle formed was here and now in Fluvanna Co.Va. Richard Carter & Eliz Carter lived on Cary's Creek in 1781/2. Cary's next to Byrd Creek. Byrd creek named for William Byrd and Cary's creek in named after Miles Wilson Cary ,his land was called Cary's Brook. I'll see what all I can find on Wilkes Co.N.C. Linda
