Thanks Karen, at least you keep an open mind and are always willing to look at new information, and not just accept the "status quo." I recently came across some information that Parks Chandler son of Richard Chandler/Charity Parks may have been married to a "Turman", if so her name would have been Lucinda Turman b. ca. 1795-1800. I will send to you what I have, for now not sharing it with others until I prove one way or the other, as there is enough mis-information out there. I believe I still have your email address. If this is true, this will just be one more piece of evidence to show that Richard Chandler had to be related to at least some of the other Chandlers in Wilkes Co. NC, after all he married Charity Parks in Wilkes Co. All their children except for the two youngest were born in NC. Joseph Chandler married Nancy Ann Turman. Richard Chandler buys land from Joseph and Nancy, and lived next to them for years in Franklin Co. GA., before Richard moved to Carroll Co. GA, where he continues to live the rest of his life surrounded by some of these other Chandlers. I'm also finding other marriages into my lines of these other Chandlers, and of course some of these descendants marry back into my Chandler line. No wonder I have so many double cousins in my Chandler line! Notify Administrator about this message?
