It's called the "Alabama Room" and I have never been there. I live in Indianapolis with my wife and 3 young kids and am not free to travel for genealogical research.

I have acquired a copy of their file on the estate of Bailey Chandler (John's son) who died Nov 1846 in Benton County intestate and insolvant.

There are at least 3 articles from past issues of the CFA newsletter with information regarding the extended family of this John Chandler.

There is a rather large group of descendants of Hampton Chandler of whom the CFA had no record, that I could find, before I started my research last fall.

Please let me know if you discover anything about this significant branch of the Chandler family tree during your visit.
