Do you live near Anniston? If so, from what I understand the library there has quite a bit on this John Chandler. From what I was told his genealogy is also there. I have not seen this personally, but if I ever do get back up home, I will spend about a month camped out at the library, as the genealogy room (use to be called the "Ayers" room, don't know what it's called now)has a great deal of genealogy of the local folk at least.
