Chandler stuff

I just would like to get things right ,the Joseph Chandler who married ANN ATKINSON and listed in Rev Wm Douglas's Regester (this way) had child Eliz b 20 Dec 1757 and son John b. June 1759. Now we don't know if these were 1st children, middle children or last children!!!! But they didn't marry Dec 20,1757 !!!
Rev William Douglas knew my Richard Chandler (married Eliz Carter)And my Richard is listed with this Joseph Chandler in Douglas book. Richard Chandler & Eliz Carter dau Sarah Smith & son Richard Carter Chandler b. 9 Nov.1771 the other dates that has been copied from person to person is wrong. I hate to beat a dead dog,but gees!!
I just found out that Richard Chandler was in Rev War. Enlisted Albemarle co.Va. with Capt Frances Taylor's Company ,between Jan 29 & March 17, 1776. Richard was freind with Col Thomas Napier ,he was exc.in WILL. And a Robert Chandler enlisted also same time. I'm up here in Fluvanna & Albemarle area researching were the records were burned or whatever in Rev War. The going is slow. I can write a book on this Chandler but, can't document parents!!! I can guess! With Joseph Chandler (one married Atkinson) written on listed next to Richard ,they could be bro., as I think this Joseph is son to John Chandler & Mary Unk (where did anyone come up with Early??) listed in St Peter's Parish ,something like 1725 (don't have info in front of me now) With my Richard b. abt 1730's and living next door to Benjamin Weaver son to Samuel Weaver & Frances L'orange ,people who had godfather John Chandler for they're son Daniel. And next door on other side Richard is George Cox (from Goochland Cox's)& Martha Howl ,he died in Smith Co.Tn.1813 ,father in law of Dunmore Damron & Martha Cox. Also here the Seay's Napier's. Most these people from Goochland records 1730-40. And for the Robert Chandler ,we have a Mary Polly Chandler d.Kanawha Co.W.v. married in Fluvanna Co. Oliver Moore. With our Chandler's but, she wasn't their dau.,she belongs to this Robert Chandler somewhere in this area. I'll find him. I plan going back to this area in summer. Anyways, Olive Moore & Mary Polly Chandler named a son Robert Chandler Moore!!! Now,this makes since. You may not understand this if you don't know this area of Va. I have been researching here for 10 yrs or more. I know there are more Chandler's in areas around Albemarle. One would be Carter Chandler and his son Howell Chandler. Also the time period 1780 ,right after Rev War ,help make this reseach harder. As the war came right thur Fluvanna, they took livestock & and some of Jefferson's slaves. And much more. The history is great here. Well, Just wanted to keep in touch, Linda
