You are looking for parents and siblings of a Lela Bell Thacker born c1887 in AL and died 1988 in FL.
Lela Bell first married Sylvester Hines. He was born c1885 and died c1905??. A child of Lela Bell/Sylvester was Maudi Hines born c1920?? in AL. Do you mean 1902??
Lela Bell second married Marion Lafayette Chandler. Marion was born c1881 in AL and died 1933 in AL. A child of Lela Bell/Marion was Robert Lester Chandler born c1919 in AL.
If, indeed, Lela Bell (nee Thacker) Hines Chandler died in FL in 1988, then where in FL? Was she a Hines when she died or a Chandler when she died? If you know where she died, you might be able to obtain an obit from local newspaper. I could not find her in the Social Security Death Index under Hines or Chandler.
If, indeed, Lela's daughter Maudi Hines died in 1994 in FL and you know where in FL, then you could also get an obit for Maudi. It might give you clues.
If the person seeking info on Lela Bell is a close direct descendant, she might be able to obtain a Lela's death certificate from the state of FL. It might list Lela's parents' names.
A death certificate in AL for Marion Chandler could be a possibility.
I have briefly looked at the census records 1900 thru 1930 but don't have enough info to locate Lela and her husbands. If Lela was born c1887, then in 1900 she would be about 13 years old and not yet married. I did find a Lela B. Thacker (daughter 10, born Feb 1890, AL) in the household of Richard A. Thacker (34, AL) and wife Martha Thacker (42, AL) living in Kincheon Twp, Chilton Co, AL. No way of knowing if this is the correct Lela.
