Linda, if I'm correct, the Richard Chandler and Samuel Chandler you mentioned were sons of Richard Woolfolk Chandler and Sarah Tompkins, although some researchers have Samuel with a different mother, name unknown of course.

If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will let me know about it.

I was given a birthdate for Richard Chandler as 1764, not too sure about that. Samuel born ca. 1760.

Samuel didn't seem to be that popular of a name with the Chandlers.

As I've told you in our conversations these Easleys and Allens are part of my lines on my dad's side. Warham Easley b. 1787 married my 4th great aunt, Kessiah Miriam Murphree.

Warham's father was a John Easley married to Winifred, his grandfather Warham Easley, believed to be brother to John Easley who married Joyce Allen. I have not figured out yet, which branch of the family Joyce Allen belonged to, but can pretty much guarantee if she was in that area she is kin to my Allen line. They multiplied like rabbits!

The part of Easleys in my line moved to Stokes Co. NC, then Pendleton Co. SC before moving on to Blount Co. AL, where they produced a ton of descendants. Others stayed in SC, some moved to TN. And still others moved to Jackson Co. AL. There were/are quite a few descendants in TX.
