Linda it gets more and more confusing all the time, doesn't it?

These Easleys are part of the clan who married into my Murphree line, so know for sure who they were. They also married into my Bynum line. Most of these descend from Warham Easley b. abt. 1787. Also know there were a ton of them!

Joyce Allen is more likely than not part of my Allen clan. If her father was William one b. 1692 St. Pauls Parish, Virgina was my 7th half great uncle. If so, they came out of New Kent Co. VA, St. Paul Parish. My line then was in Henrico Co. VA; Caswell Co. NC; Hanover Co. VA; then into SC in several counties, including Greenville, Orangeburgh, Spartanburg, Edgefield, etc. Now, other of these Allens spread out all over the south.

After SC, my direct line went to Jackson Co. GA, then to Talladega Co. AL with my great grandpa ending up in Calhoun Co., AL.

Some of my Allens were gunsmiths, others blacksmiths.

I've noticed that there were Chandlers wherever my Allens were. So far, have found some marriages between my line of Chandlers and Allens, but none of them my direct line.

Also two daughters of Moses Murphrees married Chandler men, of course in Pickens County, SC.
