Patsy, John Easley died 1746Goochland wife was Joyce Allen (proved from her father's Will in Albemarle co.1751/52. In Will she was Joyce Chandler.)

This John Easley & Joyce Allen had son Robert "Robin" Easley who went to Pickens Co.S.C. Easley,S.C. is named for him!

Joyce b abt 1718/19 married 2nd Joel Chandler Jr.(so he was born abt 1717?? I think this is poss. son to Joel Chandler & Mimms.

In 1748 Cumberland records Joel Chandler is guardian over Joyce's Easley children. Bartholomew Stovall was on this record. First William Allen had guardianship (her father ,he died 1751/52) ,2nd Joel Chandler.

Next in 1752 Cumberland Co.Va. ,Abraham Sallee is told by court to settle John Easley's estate.
Then court said for church to bound out the boys.

John & Joyce lived on Deep creek children were
Samuel Easley from father's Will land on deep Cr.
John Easley III land slate River Albemarle.
Robert land on Slate River sold ,went to Pickens Co.S.C.
Wm. land on slate River Albemarle.
Millington b.bef.1746 goochland d. 1803 Greenville S.C. land slate River Albemarle. I think this area became Buckingham co.
Judith

Joyce Allen's Bro William Hunt Allen in Rockingham Co.N.C. He is listed as Rev.War I don't know if he stay here or not! Any Chandler's in Rockingham Co.N.C.

With these people moving in groups ,when I find someone near our Chandler that has moved out of state I check for Chandlers.

I don't know what happen to Joel Chandler & Joyce. Maybe the Joel you have is this Joel Jr. Joyce may have died.

Why would the church have the sons, after Joel Chandler had them??? If she died ,maybe Joel could care for them. Then maybe he married a Agnes. Linda
