How do the *petitioners in the June 1703 Accomack Co Va. Court Order relate to each other? And where is the will of Isaac Metcalfe? Can't find it in Nottingham.
"Upon the petitions of John Metcalfe, son of ISAAC METCLAFE, and of Edmund Ayres and his wife Ann (one of the legatees to the will of Isaac Metcalfe), it was ordered that *Capt. Henry Custis and *Thomas Bagwell be apt. (in place of those named in the will) to divide the estate in five Parts. It was further ord. that Ann, the widow & extrx (of Issac's will), deliver to the petitioners their portions of the est. at a conv. time bef. the next court. (Accom.Co. Va.
