I am looking for information on John Wesley Chancey (b - Abt 1818 in South Carolina?) and his wife Miriam. Children were Jasper (b 1841), Martha (b 1842), James (b 1844), Mary (b 1848), Saphronia (b 1850) Sarah (b 1852) Robert Monroe (b 3/12/1853 - d 7/21/1909), Morgiana (b 1854). I have information on the descendants of Robert Monroe Chancey but cannot find info on his ancestors. The family settled around Enterprise, Alabama I believe. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
