Barb,
I'll have to check my records at home but I'm almost sure David Chauncey and Moses Chauncey are descendants of Moses Chauncey of NY, who is listed in William Chauncey Fowlers "Memorials of the Chaunceys". I believe I have a pamphlet written by a Michigan descendant. If you're still looking, let me know and I'll do what I can to track the reference down for you.
