I seem to remember a link such as you found, but I can't find it either. Be aware that no such connection beyond this country in the late 1700s has been proven. There is much speculation as to where our Chanceys immigrated from but the records appear to have been lost. If anyone actually has documented evidence that our people now in South Georgia came here from Ireland or other UK areas..they are keeping it to themselves.

Is this your family:?

Christopher Tiney Chancey
+ Millie Carter

Christopher Chancey
+ Nancy Raulerson

Joseph Marion Chancey
+ Mary Ann Bennett

Adolphus Chancey
+ Mamie Wasdin

Adolphus Doyle Chancey
+ Doris Bradner

All of this is not documented either....so you must prove it if you need to...its a starting place only.
