NEW INFORMATION!!! Nancy was the daughter of Samuel Chauncey 1-27-1798 to 2-17-1862, married 5-24-1821 to Julia Ann Jones born in Bladen CO., NC 3-13-1801. Julia's parents were Simon Jones and Margaret ?. I have photo of Nancy & Elijah's grave markers, but it has her name as NANCEY DANRAGE CREECH b 4-17-1830 to 12-23-1895. Does anyone know if DANRAGE was her grandmother's maiden name? On the family records from a family member it has her maiden name as Nancy Dandrige Chauncey.
Samuel's father is listed as John Chauncey and his mother is Sarah ?. Does this new info ring a bell with anyone. Please e-mail me if you have questions or info. sch83@webtv.net Thanks! Will share info.
