I am compiling a book on the descendants of Bartlett Eaves and Malinda Eaves was one of his granddaughters. So I am trying to track her children; find out what happened to them This is what I know so far.
I would appreciate any help you you folks can give me.
1. MARY S. CHANCE - Born about 1856 in Louisiana
2. WILLIAM CHANCE - Born about 1858 in Louisiana
3. ELIZA CHANCE - Born about 1860 in Texas. She may have been the E.A. Chance who married R.A. Williams 29 Aug. 1879 in Sabine County, Texas.
4. DANIEL CHANCE - was born 21 Sept. 1862, probably in San Augustine County, Texas; died 5 Feb. 1914, according to his gravestone in Rather Cemetery, Shelby County Texas. Was he the D.A. Chance who married NANCY CURY 17 Jan. 1890? Married (2) MARY GRANT 23 Dec, 1908 in Sabine County, Texas.
He and his family were recorded in 1900 in the Shelby County census.

5. DRURY/DREW CHANCE - Born about 1866 Texas. Was he the Drue Chance who married Willie Rines on 2 Aug. 1888 in Shelby County, Texas.?
6. MILTON CHANCE - Born about 1866 in Texas. Was he the Milton Chance who married M.E. CLICK 14 Dec. 1891 in Sabine County, Texas?
7. JAMES C. "JIM" CHANCE - Born 29 May 1869 and died 21 Jan. 1934, according to his gravestone in Maddox Cemetery, Mayflower community, Newton County, Texas. He married EMILY ELIZABETH "LIZZIE" GRANT 1 Sept. 1892 in Sabine County, Texas. She was born 28 Dec. 1874 and died 24 Nov. 1936, according to her gravestone in Maddox Cemetery. Occupation: Note: Store owners and operators in both Sabine & Newton Counties.
8. LAURA CHANCE - Born about 1872 in Texas. She may be the Laura Chance who married HENRY CROWELL 1 March 1900 in Sabine County, Texas.
9. LONNIE CHANCE - Born about 1872 in Texas; married Ora Spurlock.
10. NONA CHANCE - Born 29 May 1875 in Shelby County, Texas; died 14 Jan. 1960 in Shelby County and is buried in Fairview Cemetery. Married ? ANDERS.
