I think you got the names reversed. My info. says that Levi Doughty was married to Abigail. Their daughter, Zylpha, later married John Chance. Samuel and Benajah are two of their children, but I believe there were plenty more.
The only thing I know about my ancestor is that she was supposedly named Phebe Johnson born around 1832. It doesn't surprise me that I can't find anything more about her though. Their names changed so often that it's impossible to track them unless you have some prior knowledge of family history. Supposedly she had three brothers named, James/Jim, John, and Jessie. Phebe is believed to be the mother of my gggrandmother, Victoria, but I find her living with James in 1880 listed as his niece.
