See Draper Manuscripts, Illinois Volume. Don't have the document directly in front of me, but believe it is about p. 104. This is a letter from Rev. Peck to the historian Draper, providing family information on his grandfather, Capt. Joseph Ogle. In the letter, dated 1853, he identifies his uncle Benjamin Ogle, and Benjamin's children, including Nancy and her husband Daniel Chance and Catherine and her husband Reuben, listing where they were living at the time. Peck notes that Benjamin lived in Iowa for some years with his children before returning to Illinois; he also indicates Reuben and Catherine's return to Illinois.
The US Federal Census returns also provide indication of their Iowa sojourn, as several of the children have that listed as their birth place.
Bethel Baptist Records record Nancy Ogle's joining the church and noting that she was Benjamin's daughter.
The on-line Illinois Statewide database also confirms the maiden names of both women married to these Chance men, and I have a copy of the marriage records for Nancy and for her parents.
