Does anyone have information on Thomas Chance who was in Caswell CO. NC in the late 1700s. He is on the 1790 and 1800 census there and I believe him to be the father of my gg grandfather Alred M. Chance. When did Thomas come to Caswell Co and where was he before that? I know the Chance line originated in MD - but did Thomas come to NC from MD - or was there a stop before that? I am looking for his parents and also who his wife was? Any information on this Chance line would be appreciated.
