I believe that the father of Catherine DILL-CHANCE, named Daniel, was the half brother of my g^2-grandfather Michael H. DALEY. Catherine's grandmother Julia McGrath-Dill-Daley born about 1794 in Ireland emigrated to America about 1868 and lived with her son Michael Daley until her death in Brooklyn, New York City on July 26, 1884. Julia is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, New York. Have any descendants of this CHANCE line followed their ancestry back to Julia McGrath and beyond? .................................................. 1851 UK Census, Bermondsey, Surrey, England head: Dan'l Dile, b. abt. 1811 Ireland, Farmer wife: Mary Dile, b. abt. 1814 Ireland son: Jeremiah Dile, b. abt. 1836, Ireland daughter: Julia Dile, b. abt. 1839, Ireland daughter: Mary Dile, b. abt. 1840, Ireland son: Dan'l Dile, b. abt. 1849, Bermondsey, Surrey, England daughter: Catherine Dile, b. abt. 1850, Bermondsey, Surrey, England mother: Julia Daley, b. abt. 1794, Ireland 1861 UK Census shows that "DILE" was actually "DILL" 1881 UK Census head: Robert CHANCE, Age 34, Birthplace Lambeth, Surrey, England, Occupation Lithographic Printer wife: Catherine CHANCE, Age 30, Birthplace Bermondsey, Surrey, England son: John L.
