No, this is not my line. Thank you so much for your time and effort in replying.
My line comes from Redden Chance born in NC about 1795. He had two sons that I know of:
Stephen Chance born 1820 in IN (my line)
and William N. Chance born 1814 in NC.
Stephen and William both took their families from IN to IA in the 1850's sometime. Sometime between Jun of 1872 and Dec 1873, Stephen took his family to Trenton, Grundy Co, MO where their last daughter was born.
Stephen died in 1879. Some of his children went on to KS later, but there were a few who remained in MO and one daughter for sure was in Sullivan county. Sarah Chance married a James Sharp.
