I am the grandson of Elemer C. Chance. His fathers name was Harry. Family lore has it that Harry and Frank (the Cubs baseball player) were cousins. The other interesting fact is that the "C" in my grandfathers name stands for Chenia (an Indian name). All of this Chance lineage is from the Dayton, Ohio region. I am very interested in learning more.
