Marvin,
My greatgrandmother was Laura Chance b 1876, married Harvey
H. Hefner 1896.
Laura had a sister named Julia....could this be same family.
Have been looking for ancestors of Laura and would appreciate any info...
I only have info of Laura's children and trying to extend the Chance tree
The difference is my ggrandfather and his children have all maintain Laura was a Creek Indian and she and her mother, Elizabeth (maiden name Milsaps) had to leave the Indian reservation when she married.
