Dixie, Is your Esther Chance the daug of Aaron Chance and Jemimia Loftis? I think they lived in Craven Co. N.C., coming from Maryland, and Arron was a son of William Chance and Elizabeth Oldfield. I am connected to both the Chance and Loftis families of Md/De. decended from Job Loftis.b. 1739 Kent De. I don't know if Jemima was a daug., or how she fits in. On the Chance side I decend from Purnell Chance. born in Md/De, was in Guilford Co. N.C, before migrating to Indiana. I haven't been able to find who Purnell's parents were. I've saw where Aaron and Jemimia Chance's children were John, Aaron, Thomas, Frances, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Nancy, Sarah, Lavinia, Jemima, Mary, Cynthia, Esther and Triphinia Chance, but can find no info on them. any help would sure be appreciated--Thanks
