Seeking for ancestors related to Stephen & Elizabeth HODSON/HODGSON CHANCE. They had several children born to them in Indiana and in Iowa including: SARAH, HESTER, REDDIN (MY GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER), REUBEN, WILLIE, JOHN, MORTON, LEVI, BERTHA AND HENRIETTA. Henrietta was born in Missouri. Stephen died in 1879. My gggrandfather, Reddin Edgar Chance was born in Indiana in 1851 and died in Herington, Kansas in 1936. Reddin was married a total of 3 times. No children that I am aware of with his first wife. Second wife was Mary Francis JACKSON CHANCE with whom he had one son...my great grandfather JESSE ROY CHANCE. Mary died and he married again to Mary Jane Osborn Goodman Chance. She had a daughter named Alice and together Mary J. and Reddin had 6 boys: HERBERT, WILLIAM "BILL", MORTON, THOMAS "LEVI" RICHARD J. "DICK", AND REUBEN all born in Kansas. As far as I know, all the boys lived in Kansas except for Dick who moved to Oregon. He had sons named Neil and Norman. I am interested in exchanging information and pictures.
