Neal, I have Warner Chance (b. bet. 1765-1784), son of Samuel Chance. According to other posts you have made, you claim that this Warner married Sally Gibson in February 1800 in Richmond Co., NC. If so, would John's father, Warner, be a son of Warner and Sally (Gibson) Warner? The date of birth you give for him (1843) would make him born too late to be Warner and Sally Gibson Chance's son.
