The 1800 census of Queen Anne's Co. shows Daniel & Sarah Chance.
The 1800 census of Caroline Co. shows Peter Chance Sr., Batcheldor pg 6, Dorrington pg 5, Elijah pg 7, Tilghman pg 6, Isaac pg 6, Peter pg 6, Rich pg 6, Skinner or Arimer pg 6.

Of those, Dorrington can be eliminated because he did not marry until 1801. Based on the family Bible, Daniel & Sarah Chance of Queen Anne Co. can also be eliminated, since the Bible does not name a child called Rebecca.
