Hi Susan
My mother was also born in Brown Co 1934 in Cross Cut.
Her father was Richard (Dick) St Clair and mother Beatrice Elsberry.
I do not know if their is a connection with the Champions of Limestone Co and Brown Co.
My mothers Grandfather George Washington St Clairs brother Loerzo Dow is the one that married Rosie Viola Champion.
Do you have inf. on George W Champions brother or sisters?
I also have been in contact with a man that has a connection with Champions in Tenn and Texas he has a massage on rootsweb.com WorldConnect looking for onf. on Lousia and Ruth Champion.
I am going back to the libaray soon maybe i'll find more to connect the familys.

I now live on Cuero Texas.
