CORRECTION:
My ancestor Ann Jones Barnes was the daughter of John Barnes & Diana Bragg (who m. 2nd John Champion). John Barnes was the son of Rowland Jones, listed by some as Rowland Jr.

I found a website that lists a brother Edward who had a son Edward also.

John Barnes had a brother Rowland ("Jr" or III) who married Jane Champion, and THEY were the parents of Orlando Jones, Martha Washington's ancestor.
Still another reference says it was Orlando Jones who married Jane Champion. Which is right?

I'm still confused, but at least we can see that Edward and Rowland Jones were related, and all are related to the Champions through several connections.

When I get this mess straightened out, I'll post it to help alleviate the confusion for anybody else. Can somebody else help?
