My husband is also from William & Alice Champion. On the 1850 census for Granville Co., William and Alice are listed with 2 of their children. Charlotte was 2 and Robert was 9 at the time of the census. My husband is also decendant from Charlotte on his mother's side and from William Henry on his father's side. William was listed on the census as being 20 and Alice as being 22 at the time. That means they were probably born in 1830 and 1828. Since William Henry wasn't born until 1850, he wasn't listed on this census. We so far have not found anything on Alice except that her name was Alice Izard.
