I am looking for more information on George Maxwell born in Greene County O (assume Ohio) Jan. 5 1839. Married first Lucina Champion Sept 25 1867 in Xena Ohio Moved to McLane county Illinois and in 1872 moved to Butler County Kansas. They had 9 children: Guy of Potwin KS, Maude Stearns of Towanda KS, Sally Hall of Townada KS, Minnie Carey of Wichita KS, Paul of Benton KS, Nelson of Englewood KS, Roy of Englewood KS, William R. of Sparks OK, Fern died at 8 years old.
Lucina died before 1895.
He married 2nd Mrs. Mary Wright Sept 4 1895 and lived in Towanda 3 years. Max died Jan 23, 1912.
I hope to find more information on all the above family. George Maxwell was my great, great, great grandfather. Minnie my great great and her daughter Edna Pearl Carey Nichols my great and her daughter Leona Nichols Green my grandmother.
