This Mary Champion nicknamed "Polly" was the dau. of Mary and Jesse Champion of Livingston. I am descended from her sister Lucy and have info on this family.
While I have not researched Polly or her husband, I think there is a good chance that Gehen was a variation of the spelling of the surname Gheen. Lucy's husband, George Dunn was related to the Gheen family of Rowan Co NC and I believe Gehen and Dunn family members came to Livingston together.
