Thanks from all of us researching this family for all your good work in documenting the Champions! FYI-I also have a minor correction to the book Champion Trails re JESSE Champion, son of Benjamin. This Jesse has been confused with one of a later generation who married a Caroline Terry. The earlier Jesse married Mary (unknown) in NC, came to Livingston with his siblings and died in 1807, leaving several children. I hired Brenda Jerome Joyce, editor of W.Ky Journal to research loose courthouse and other records to confirm this connection. I have the names of Jesse's children, etc.
Suggestion for donation of the Champion research material might be the Livingston Co Historical Society. They maintain a volunteer staff at a log cabin in Smithland/Salem, KY area.
