My wife's GGGG-grandmother was Mary Champen(Champion), c. 31.12.1775 at St. Ives, Cornwall, as daughter of Thomas Champion and Mary, nee Penberthy. Mary married 18.2.1798 Samuel (Capt'n Sam) Curnow. The couple's third daughter, Sibella, is my wife's GGG-granddaughter.
All the people mentioned feature in my recently published book "Our Own World History." Naturally, such a book is never finished. I would welcome hearing from anyone interested in the Champion and Curnow family.
