I don't know dates or linage but Marge and Qower Champion played in the movie SHOWBOAT LOL. Also MANY other movies that I loved when I was a kid. I NEVER thought about Gower being a CHAMPION until I read your message. Hope he turns up on my line.
I am looking for the family of Joseph Henry Champion Jr Born Dec. 18,1879 in Mississippi. I know he had two Brothers one named Willis.Don't know if he had other siblings .He married Emma Derry Dunn in Tn ca 1902 in Hickman or Davidson County TN They had 4 children ahd his 3 step sons took the name CHAMPION.
Joseph died May 5, 1953 in Nashville TN
