Tina,My sister and I are starting our research on our Champions' in Oswego County. Our grgrgrgrandfather is Peter Champion in the 1850 census. We believe his 'brothers' are also listed in this census and they are Joseph and John. By 1865 we've added Alexander,William and another John who all seem to come from the same area and have a habit of using the same names for their children. Peter shows a Frank who,we believe, turns up in the 1870 census married to an Olive. By the 1892 census,Frank and Olive have listed with them Charles,Horace,Frank and Norman.I'm thinking it's your Frank and Olive. Peter and Mary Champion also had 16 children and most of them appear to have lived and their names were,Mary,Jane,Francis,
David,William,Joseph and twin Julia who later dies,George,
the second Julia,Ann and Rose. We found Mary, the mother, listed in the 1865 census as having 16 children. We come down thru their daughter,Mary. I'm hoping that this is a connection for our families and we can share info. Jill
