My great great Grandmother married Jousha Champion. She was Caroline Lucinda Alcorn a sister of Governor James Lusk Alcorn. I have a large color photo of her and the family bible from Jousha Champion.
Jousha Champion was the son of Willis Champion of North Carolina. My Great Grandmother had written a short story of a battle at a Champion Plantation that tells about some of the events that happened.
