My gggrandfather, Joseph Burton Rucker, in his second marriage, married Rebecca Champion in Williamson Co TN in 1844. Obviously not yours, but there may be a connection. Her line is Alexander, Hart, John, Benjamin, Edward jr and Edward sr. They have Isle of Wight Co Va heritage and then got scattered to NC and on to GA (where my Rebecca was born).
