My gggrandfather Joseph Burton Rucker, in his second marriage, married Rebecca Champion (of GA birth) in Williamson Co TN in 1844. Her line is Alexander, Hart, John, Benjamin, Edward jr and Edward sr. The line ties back to Isle of Wight VA and some family members ended up in NC also. I have not had time to verify all of this but it is accurate as far as I know.
