Was she a granddaughter of John Champion who died in Granville County, N.C. about 1786?
She married Jeremiah Kittle born c1787, who is believed (by some) to be a son of Christopher Kittle and Barbary (Blalock?). Jeremiah Kittle named a daughter Barbary.
In the 1786 Granville tax list is #17 John Champion, 19 John Bradford, 20 Charles Heflin, 21 Abraham Jones, other names, 28 David Blaylock, 29 Jeremiah Blaylock, 30 Christopher Kittle, 31 James Kittle. In other words, all nearby.
Cade Blalock (son of William Bla(y)lock & Mary Hudspeth) b. c1727, had son David Blaylock b. 1756 who married Margaret Frances Champion b. c1765, daughter of John and Susannah Champion.
A researcher says that Barbara Blalock who married Jeremiah LYNCH 29 FEB 1792 in Granville, NC was a daughter of Cade Blalock.
Was Barbary (Blaylock?) Kittle (b. 1750-60?), mother of Jeremiah Kittle who married Martha Champion, perhaps a granddaughter of Cade Blalock?
