I have a Daniel Champion b. 1819 (SC) m. Martha Ann Loyd b 1830 (GA?) who were living in Floyd County, GA at the time of the 1860 census. They married in Floyd County about 1847. According to the census they are living with a Smith P. Sales and his wife Amana (both are from SC). Daniel and Martha had a daughter named Amana and that was Mrs. Sales' name. Wonder if she was Daniel's sister? Daniel fought in Civil War and died in 1865 as a result of a wound received.

Wonder if there is a connection between my Daniel and your Nancy? I'm sorry I don't have more information. I'm just getting started on this line.

Thanks. Jeannine
