John Champion's will, posted in Franklin Co., TN, named his wife ,Elizabeth R. Standly, sons Randolph,Francis, William. Gunry, Jefferson and James, and daughters Polly and Charlotte; property to be divided equally upon the death of the wife.
Franklin Co Wills, p 30, Oct 13, 1818. Witnesses were William Champion (my ancestor, either a brother or cousin), Sam Stephens, and Stephen Caster. The family is somehow connected to Thomas Jefferson's Randolph ancestors but I cannot decipher the connection.
