I did find this in my archive file it's as follows from: Lois
Emilie Rodatz was married to John Gallois who was my great, great, great grandfather, supposodly from the Channel islands(when they were french). Their son, my great, greatfather was born on a ship in the hamburg harbour. The Emilie Rodatz did not come to Australia-it was her son Charles William Gallios and his son Charles William Gallios that came to Australia. Emilie's husband John, was a teacher according to the birth certificate. There seems to be no trace of what how and when Charles William(the elder) did after he actually left hamburg(since he was born on a ship in the harbour. the story was that they came from the Channel islands(Jersey-when it was french). Charles William came to Australia on the CAYUGA which is an Indian name. I don't know if this is the direction you want .
