My GGgrandmother was Elizabeth D. Piggott or Pickett as it is known today. What Elizabeth Chamness are you looking for? My Elizabeth was married to David S. Chamness of Randolph Co NC..They all came from England and Va.. My Great Grandmother helped write a book about the Chamness Family of England Va. NC. Indiana, and so on. If I can help you with your research please E-mail me. I have some good pictures of the old Chamness home place built back in the 1700's and of the new house built in the 1800's. My grandfather Cleston Elijah was born and raised there. I met a lady recently that is 91 years old that remembers all about it. Her mother inherited the homeplace and she was also raised there.
