Hi, Joan. Sorry. All that is abbreviations found in Quaker minutes. MM = Quaker monthly meeting. Set off means was originally part of. Rec by rcq I think is received by certificate or request (roc is definitely received on certificate), gct = granted certificate (in Pearl's case to Marion MM). Willard Heiss abstracted the minutes of IN Quaker meetings - 7 volumes - and I think all the abbreviations are explained as well. I'm sure your Pearl and Charles Bepley were Quakers and were in IN at some point since that's where I was looking. If you can't find the Heiss books at a genealogical library, they are availble on microfiche from the LDS church and can be ordered into a local LDS family history center near you. Hope this is more helpful. Kay
